Astrology classes commencing February 2009

Patricia Shepherd started her serious study of astrology well over 28 years ago and is an accredited teacher (AAT) with the Federation of Australian Astrologers. The FAA was formed in 1970 and is dedicated to the astrological principles of education and research, promoting friendly contact between astrologers throughout Australia supporting a National Code of Ethics.

Founding the Wollongong College of Astrology in 1998 her students are encouraged, although it is not compulsory, to sit the FAA examinations with all successful candidates’ qualifications being recognised internationally.

Patricia is also a member of the FAA Exam Board and is a foundation member and President of The Association of Professional Astrologers (The APA).

She has a Diploma in Psychotherapy and Relationship Counselling from Jansen Newman Institute (JNI) and a Graduate Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy from the Illawarra Gestalt Centre, both internationally recognised training programs.

Patricia is an Astrological Consultant/Counsellor at  Natural Health on Bellevue, 21 Bellevue Rd, Figtree.

The 2-year basic astrology course follows the syllabus of the FAA with students working on their own charts and, after they have learnt how to calculate an Astrological Chart, that of family and friends.

This is a very personalised course promoting self-awareness and growth so whether you require more understanding of self and others or wish to become a professional astrologer, this course is designed for the beginning student. A 3rd year and advanced study is also offered if numbers make it viable.
