Seeing Stars
by Patricia Shepherd

For the week beginning 8 December

Full Moon at 21 degrees Gemini 02

SAGITTARIUS

The restlessness continues for our centaurs this week as they struggle with what is and what could be. The Full Moon in the opposite sign of Gemini may see you scattering your energies and accomplishing little. Consolidate.

CAPRICORN

Emotionally you are feeling pretty good with optimism high. As you have a positive frame of mind at the moment you are able to skirt any hurdles and accomplish more than usual.

AQUARIUS

The North Node in your sign till July next year stimulates the desire for more social contact but not just with anyone. You’re looking for those that stimulate and encourage widely varied interests.

PISCES

If you continue to set impossible goals then disillusionment will always follow - all that is needed is a two parts discipline and one part practicality to aid you in any creative endeavours.

ARIES

Luck and good humour has you righting a wrong and forming closer ties to someone you have been estranged from. If you can allow the past to be the past then the future outcome is looking good.

TAURUS

Normally quite a placid person by nature the movement of Venus into Aquarius has you enjoying much more of the social scene than normal. This would also be a good time to put in a bit of networking.

GEMINI

As the Moon approaches its monthly opposition to the Sun it is a good time to reflect on the past and into the future. This Full Moon in Gemini is a power time for you encouraging a new perspective.

CANCER

Conflicts at work could see you feeling insecure and withdrawing into yourself. As this can affect your health it is important not to get carried away and blow things out of proportion.

LEO

Venus, planet of relationships moves into your solar seventh house, which is also the house of relationships so you should be able to create a proper balance between yourself and those you meet.

VIRGO

Mercury aligns with Pluto at this month’s Full Moon so communications, particularly with family members may take on an intensity that the situation does not warrant. Great for gaining insight but care needed in handling them.

LIBRA

The movement of Venus, indicator of what we love, into your solar fifth house till early January bodes well for any socialising you may wish to do. The house of entertainment and fun is being activated so enjoy.

SCORPIO

Financial matters may come to a head this week so it may be necessary to ground yourself in reality and not give way to any unnecessary or impractical solutions otherwise tensions will mount.

FULL MOON at 21 degrees GEMINI 02

The Full Moon on Saturday 13 December at 3:37 am AEDT, forms a mutable grand square indicating we are at a crossroad with Mars (action), Saturn (structure) and Uranus (freedom) encouraging a heightened sense of restlessness and nervousness. The main problem  is the inclination to be very inconsistent and unmethodical, spreading ourselves over too wide a field. The friction also arises from having a mix of the four elements fire, earth, air and water creating strain and pressure.

Any Full Moon is a power time and this one combining the Sun in Sagittarius and the Moon in Gemini encourages us to submit our beliefs and attitudes to the test of reality and logical thinking and how it can be applied not only in our daily lives but how we can make it work for our future and that of the community.

The added team up of Mercury (communication) and Pluto (depth) helps to facilitate awareness and insight into our current patterning and behaviour providing the opportunity for constructive change. Be aware of what you are doing and take the necessary steps to change.
